We lost 1-0 to AM with those two at CB. And Fabinho was also playing. Badly.
The worry for us is that Fabinho was so terrible, and how crap he's been since he got back from injury. And how uninspiring Keita has been. And how hit and miss Ox is. And how Gini goes missing all the time. And how having spent 170ish million on midfielders, Henderson is the pick of the bunch, and he's gonna miss the CL game.

After 10 minutes last night i thought we were well equipped to beat CFC, unfortunately Fabinho never got his act together along with most of the playing squad and the chavs got right back into it, and then you had Kepa become a world class keeper for the night and that was that. Not so much Saturday but against Madrid its going be a mentality issue and we have been the monsters at that this season so i expect us to progress through.
Everyone has posters they can't stand, I'm sure I'm on more than a few lists. However it's not because any of them don't love the club. And all of those posters are involved in sensible discussions and contributions as well as shall we say more 'antagonistic' posts or the odd slanderous dialogue.

I remember saying this last season, it's a fucking disgrace when we spend so much money and yet here we are, cry-arsing about Henderson being injured, praying for Milner to start the next game, wondering if Chamberlain is worth starting over Curtis Jones and giving Adam Lallana starts.
And as for the attack, well, the fact that Origi has made over 20 league appearances and we started last night's game with him and £7m Minamino up front just about fucking says it all.
The squad isn't good enough and injuries/ loss of form show that very clearly indeed.

Not really that bothered that we got beat, just pissed that Berkley scored, but the reason I am not that bothered is that after the Watford game it was important that we made some changes to try and figure out what went so wrong and why we could not rectify it...

Players like Lallana the Ox and Origi have slowed the development of players like Harry Wilson, Curtis Jones, Rhian Brewster and many more. Had it not been for Origi and the Ox someone like Jones or Brewster may have been played on the Left or in Brewster’s case through the middle...

Van Dijk has started every single Premier League game so far this season, playing almost every minute, and the effect he has had on the red's fortunes has been well documented.
However, he’s had not had a regular partner this season, with Joe Gomez, Dejan Lovren and Joel Matip all playing alongside him at different points. Here’s how the trio’s stats compare:
Goals Conceded
Liverpool have made headlines for their defensive record and set an all-time club record with nine clean sheets in their opening 12 games, but standards have dipped slightly recently.
Still, Jurgen Klopp’s men have kept 13 clean sheets from 24 games in the Premier League so far – three more than the next best teams, Chelsea and Manchester City. In total, they’ve conceded just 14 goals.
Gomez has had the longest run in the team this season, and their slight dip from a defensive standpoint correlates with the injury that’s kept him out since early December – the Reds have kept just one clean from their last six games without him, in all competitions.
In the 12 games Gomez has started, Liverpool have kept seven clean sheets, conceding just four goals.
In comparison, they’ve have kept just one clean sheet in the five matches that Matip has started, conceding five. However, he did feature in the impressive, vital 1-0 win over Napoli that saw Liverpool progress to the Champions League knockouts.
Klopp regularly turns to the Cameroonian as an extra man in defence when the Reds are seeing out a game, but it’s not always been the best strategy – for example when Spurs rallied to score in injury-time and nearly win a penalty in Liverpool’s 2-1 win at Wembley back in September.
Lovren was Van Dijk’s first-choice partner at the back in the latter half of last season, but a combination of Gomez form and injuries have seen him play fewer matches this term.
From the Croatian’s nine league starts this campaign, Liverpool have conceded five and kept five clean sheets.

Sorry, but that's nonsense. Brewster has been badly injured for over a year. That's not down to those players. Wilson has been 'developing' on loan, and even then many on here were happy to see him sold. Jones has been 'developing' well enough, even if he's not as good as he thinks he is. You don't get these claims made when the team is winning every game for the past few months, but now every single ridiculous fake complaint pops up.
Clyne was injuried and TAA step in, and stepped up. who is to say that Brewster would have played had he not been injuried or wilson for that matter, and who is to say that they would not have been regular starters we can't say. The only thing that we do know is a) we did not play them to find out and b) we know how lacking Origi,Lalana and the Ox...
