Chance of a backdoor into Europa League next season?

Some Europe is better than no Europe, even though it's not the champions league, it still has a pull for players. Anyway we can easily play youngsters and Suarez in the first few rounds, it'll be good for all of them.

Where does it stand at the moment in terms of us getting in?

I think the top three countries in the European fair play table gets to enter their team winning the domestic fair play league.
England were in forth at Christmas but their is some chatter because Chelsea topped the Champions league fair play table (nice to see Rafa proving he is a winner yet again😉) it might push them up the table.
We are in second place behind Arsenal in the Premiership fair play league but as they will qualify for Europe through their league position we would be the Premiership nominee if they are awarded a place.
And yes, I felt dirty and a bit sad typing all that out.🙁

End of the season I guess. There will probably be more chat about it before then if we are in with a shot

Brilliant, being a "team in transition" has it's upsides in Irony. Fleet Street would have a field day

If there are pre-season qualifiers as well, does that mean he'll be available sooner?
