the most points we can realistically get is about 62-63 - that's 30 points fom 14 games, so quite a pace - and that's unlikely to be enough for 4th place. not impossible, but unlikely.

the chances are, though, we won't get much more than 55 points.

I would like us to get a few players in Jan so they can get used to the pace of prem, settle in and all that over the next 5 months or so and be up to pace by August.

i'm pretty sure at least one of chelsea and spurs will get more than 63 points, probably more like 70.

I think city, spurs and possible chelsea will be very inconsistant for the rest of the season, but inconsistant enough to let us back in? naw...

I think Chelsea might reach the 70 points.

It will be between City and Spurs around 63-65..

I just hope City will start to collapse

While that's not impossible, it is improbable.

We can make the top 6 and that would be a turn around of magnificent proportions considering that relegation was a real possibility under Roy.

But this season is not following the same trend as previous seasons in terms of points won for most of the top 4 clubs. That said I'd say 5th would be the highest we could look to achieve and that will be a push and rely on others.

unlikely even if we signed a half a squad of new players, don't forget players need to settle in and may not show their best form etc

it's not impossible though, we have in recent times (under Rafa) won 10 league games a in row, i think in 06
