Champions League Group stages - Round six

Chelsea’s most important player is Kante.
There was a stat I think I saw where they have only conceded once in last 55 games I think only 4 times now and each time Kante has been missing.
It doesn’t matter how many midfielders they have. Without him, it’s a different game.

How did Sevilla who are currently 2nd in La Liga not manage to qualify in that group......

Salzburg in last 16 please....if not then bring on Sporting.

Mueller is right - from what I’ve seen Barca actually played OK in this game, but whenever Sane and co. broke at pace, they looked like a consumer car trying to race against a Formula-1. It’s a long way back for them.

So far this season you have had Man Utd upset by young Boys, Man Utd Beat young Boys and now Man Utd Held By Yonig Boys
Seems Like Utd Can't Get enough of Young Boys  Lol

Our possible opponents for Round of 16:

PSG
Sporting
Inter
Benfica
Villarreal/Atalanta
Lille/Sevilla/Salzburg/Wolfsburg (3 pts separating 1st to 4th placed teams)
So pretty much PSG the only ones I'd want to avoid at this stage.

Hang on. What is going on with this stat ? Only conceded once in 55 games? That's pure fantasy.

We’re definitely getting PSG and going out in the next round.

I would like to injure some of PSG's players.

But that aside, would be happy with Atalanta, Sporting or Benfica. I love playing attacking sides.

I'm afraid if we visit Salzburg, we might come back with more of their players.

Either you misread it or i misquoted it 🙂
Actual stat is “Chelsea have conceded more than once in a game just THREE times under Thomas Tuchel, in 53 games. N’Golo Kanté missed all three of these games.”
This was prior to the Zenit game ofcourse.

Don’t see any of those teams troubling us in the next round tbh…Inter would be a sturn test for sure…PSG defensively poor and wouldn’t put half the work rate we would…then who do you have? Europa league sides like Villarreal Sporting and Salzburg.

So United beat then 0-2 away and 2-1 at home but we can't handle them ? 😀

I’m not saying we can’t handle them, but out of all the other options bar PSG they are probably the team I’d rather avoid. A solid defensive system paired with some quick and technical attackers like my boy Danjouma. They largely outplayed United, but lacked a bit of quality/luck.

Haha Moyes at it again :

Though he was disappointed with defeat, David Moyes admits he is excited by the challenge of the Europa League knockout stages.

"I'm a winner and disappointed we didn't get something out of the game," said the Hammers boss.
