carroll or aguero?

i'd rather have carroll over aguero given that we have suarez. my main concern is whether carroll and suarez will play well together. they haven't had much time on the pitch together so i think they will take a while to get going and that could be costly for the season

Slightly off topic, but if someone offered me £50m for Henderson & Carrol, I'd have their arm out if its socket. I know it's not fashionable to question the Boss, but I think we've massively overpaid for these two. Not saying we shouldn't have bought them, but realistically not for anywhere close to that amount.......

As an acid test, if the Mancs had paid that for them two I'd be pissing myself right now......

*only Swansea * ? Regardless he is going to be a bigger hit than Tevez.

Hope you are joking. Aguero won't hit the heights that Tevez has. He's been a 2 in 3 striker fro them for 2 years.

aguero will be better than tevez this season, i think he'll be the best striker the premiership has seen in some time

BS, no one was saying this before he come on against a tiring Swansea team with a shit midfield and tore it up. No way hits 2 in 3 this year and provides what Tevez did in terms of work rate. Aguero will also need to be played with a strike partner.

They will definitely miss tevez. Dzeko and aguero combined are better than tevez, but tevez is just unparalleled when on his own

I think he will be better than Tevez this season too as Tevez has no intention of playing for City again. As for the best striker I'm not going to start sucking his dick just yet based on a 30 minute performance against a newly promoted team - regardless of how tidy he looked.

Aguero is some player but we had no hope in hell of getting him. We have the right players right here. Silva is the player we need to unlock tight defences. He has improved at Citeh. Shrugged off 2 tackles last night and played an inch perfect pass to the right wing that led to the Dzeko accidental goal. That and his link up with Aguero for his goal had me purring.

As for the best striker in the Premiership, we have him already. Suarez!!!

I do think that will be a good front free, it's got height in Dzeko, pace and power in Aguero and craft in Silva. If we could add a third to Carroll and Suarez then we'd be someway to matching that, though we could hopefully get a fully fit Gerrard back which (along with Downing and the option of Deadly) would still be a good attacking set of players.

Silva is fucking awesome. I wish we'd have signed him.

And me. I've wanted him every summer since 2005! It's painful seeing how silky he is on the ball for Manchester bloody City. Who the hell are they?

You run the risk of being Modokay II, be careful.

Forget about Carroll or Aguero, how about Steven Defour, Eliaquim Mangala, and Diego Capel for less than we paid for Henderson?

Whatever you think of that trio, it still really highlights how big the English tax is - I don't think I've ever known such a gap between the markets. No fucking wonder we can't sell Aquilani back to Italy for any kind of fee when Defour is going for £6m!

Wonder why nobody is buying him then. Ferguson was sending him "get well soon" cards a year or so ago, but doesnt seem to give a fuck about his health now. Im just wondering.

dear god!

Capel is shite. He went to fucking Sporting from Sevilla. Defour has had 2 major injuries in the last couple of years and question marks regarding his fitness.

This is his season, I feel. Which is why I got him in my fantasy team nice and early.
