Thats 100% true, you just cannot realistically replace those special players no matter how much money you get.

Suarez is priceless to us.

There is an answer to the "best player ever" point, and it isn't "yes", but this isn't the thread for that argument.

People said he wasn't the best player in the league last year, he's put that to bed.

I just wonder when people will realize he is in that bracket with Ibrahimovic etc ... He's fucking unreal.

Don't know about Messi or Ronaldo but he's easily better than Zlatan, wouldn't trade in a million years.

He's not in the messi or ronaldo class (though if he carriers this form on, you never know) but he's in that bracket below them that includes Zlatan etc

Only fucking idiots or biased Mancs/Bitters thought that, he was the best player by a long way, his consistancy is immense, Bale, van Persie and Mata were miles behind in that regard and pretty much every other regard for that matter.

What hes doing now is making it impossible for people to say otherwise without them looking like right bellends.

Hes getting closer and closer all the time for sure, its not ridiculous to mention him in the same breath as those 2.

Makes Arsenal's £40m+1 bid a joke. He's worth about double that now.

Also credit to Rodgers for getting it out of him.

I don't think Bale was miles behind TBF but I do think Suarez deserved Player of the Year. Had the decision been taken on football grounds alone, he might have got it.

Yeah agree, over exagerating a bit there (too excited), Bale did have a slow start to the season though and only really clicked into 5th gear in the second half of the season where as Suarez was at it the whole way through just like he will be this season.

What I loved most was his defensive work which sets him apart from everyone on the planet attackers wise

I don't think he's suddenly become as good as Messi. It's probably just down to the team. Last year they were shit, leaving Suarez to score most of his goals unaided. This year the team have quit being cunts and are doing their job properly. So he's like a fat obese pig now, gorging himself on the assists to score an unreal amount of goals over and above his normal appetite.

The opposite thing has happened to Coutinho. When he arrived the front players were resigned to having to time runs to perfection, and in tandem in order to create space and make the most of the shit being served up by Allen and Henderson.

Now they have gotten used to Coutinho playing inch perfect balls, the cunts have visibly stopped making those hard runs. They make unthinking and effortless ones expecting Coutinho to land the ball in the perfect spot with no margin of error. So they're still cunts for making him look bad.

Your explanation is clearly incorrect because it ignores the one axiom upon which any theory of football must be based, that the majority of players must be cunts.

Messi and Ronaldo have been playing in better teams that Suarez. Makes life easier for them. (not trying to take anything from them as both are fantastic players).

Same here, i was sulking like big kid in the summer when it looked like he was off, him going would hurt 100x more than the Torres transfer.
I saw him down here against Melbourne Victory and his whole body language said he was off, so so glad Rodgers put the foot down!

And John Henry. He was pretty unequivocal.

Listening to Gerrard after the match though, he knows he's off. We need top 4 again this season though and it is realistic.

United are vulnerable. Spurs are far weaker and Arsenal have been shown up a bit recently. Chelsea aren't ticking but will undoubtedly be up there. City are nailed on though.
