I kept seeing references to this cup earlier in the season & ignored it thinking it was a new cup for shitty lower division teams.

What a shit sponsor!

Anyway, we've got enough games to worry about this season, play a side with two or three first teamers in & the rest being our second string.

This. I want to see Solanke, Kent, Gruijc, Gomez, Woodburn etc.

Yeah, I get the "We try to win every trophy" argument, & with a strong squad with strength in depth I agree completely.

We don't have enough depth though, & those second string players are almost certainly going to be called upon later in the season, so let's kill two birds with one stone, rest the senior players & give the younger or less established players a shot against a good side.

I'm in line with this. Tough draw and if there is one comp we don't care about as much, this is it. Especially with the new sponsor name. Thought it was some sponsored tournament hosted in Asia
