Can see our game along with the West Brom vs Newport game being those televised

It's great we've got a home draw as will be able to take my daughter to this one and with it being the school holidays I don't have to worry about what time I get home afterwards!

But I bet your daughter's mother will (care what time you get her home) !

Defender Alan Sheehan is rubbing his hands together at the prospect of causing an upset in Round 2 of the Capital One Cup.

The Magpies were drawn out against Premier League Liverpool, one of English football's most successful sides, on Thursday afternoon - much to the delight of the County supporters.

Notts booked a place in the draw with a 3-2 triumph over Fleetwood Town on Wednesday night, thanks to goals from Enoch Showunmi, Danny Haynes and Callum McGregor.

Sheehan, a Manchester United fan, cannot wait for the Anfield clash, which will no doubt be a memorable occasion for the club.

“It’s exciting to face a top Premier League side like Liverpool and incredible players,” said Sheehan.

“It will be great to test ourselves against such a top team at a fantastic stadium.

“It’s a great draw for the club and an great game to look forward to for the players and the fans.

“We’ve got some important league games coming up before that so hopefully we can head there on the back of some good results and maybe cause an upset.”

The game is due to take place in the week commencing Monday 26 August and a confirmed date and kick-off time, along with ticket details, will be released here on the club’s official website as soon as they are confirmed.

Arsenal, Tottenham, Swansea and Wigan Athletic are not top sides...but I get where you're coming from.
