He'll not be getting a new contract at Inter.

He's 33, and in his pomp, was an excellent DM. Good reader of the game, excellent passer and a winner to say the least.

Would he a good player to get as a back up? He won't be expecting to be a starter, and would add a wealth-load of experience and a winner's attitude to a young squad.
