My fiancée and I have been offered teaching positions at an international school in Cairo. Initially we were like no way in hell! However after some research it may not be such a bad place to live and work. The package is very good; decent salary, annual flights home, housing allowance, medical insurance. We have found a nice compound/town named Rehab which looks lovely!
Our biggest concern is terrorism and the lack of respect towards western women.
Anyway I was just wondering if anyone had any advice or particular knowledge of Cairo or even rehab. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated as we are finding it a difficult decision to make.
