Rumour has it that gary neville will be announced as Bury's new manager tomorrow. I've always had a soft spot for Bury and go to watch them 3 or 4 times a season but if this rumour is correct they are dead to me.

The tautological Neville Neville who spawned the 2 eejit Neville Bros is a regular at Gigg Lane and is "well connected" with the hierarchy so this rumour sorta makes sense.
 
It wont be Jack. Fergie (and the Lma) will now support bury with players and shit so the squad will be better and they will threaten to removesupport if he is sacked.

Exactly, he'll have his pick from the best of the United kids and reserves and if he still manages to fail Fergie Senior will immediately withdraw all these loan players to teach Bury a lesson - like he did with Preston this season when they fired Fergie Jnr.

Just gave myself a quick giggle...............imagine he's a success and after a year or two gets a gig at somehwere like Blackburn or Stoke.....................(very hypothetical now) and imagine he does well there for a season or two...............Gary Neville = England manager. This forum would go into meltdown. At least we wouldn't have to worry about Liverpool players getting injured whilst playing for England.

Yeah, I've seen his name linked because he was at Bury's game at the weekend. He goes to quite a few lower league games in the north west.

I think Gary Neville will get the job IF he wants it just because his Dad knows everyone at Bury very well and he's there with all the directors every time I go (come to think of it he might be a director himself). Maybe Rosler as Manager and Neville as assistant?

Former Liverpool & England striker Robbie Fowler will arrive at Gigg Lane on Monday and will spend the week assisting Caretaker manager Richie Barker in the day to day coaching of the first team squad.

He will join Richie Barker in the dugout for Tuesday nights game with Burton Albion.At the moment, it is unclear if he will still be available to take up a similar role for the Barnet game on Saturday due to prior commitments.
