Oh shit! I've lost my stream and I suspect no hope of getting it back. I'm relying on you SCM's dudes - Pen?

We're sooo much better with some pace in the side. And also already dependant on Mané. Nearly to much

Yeah, Mane was seriously missed on Saturday. And Origi should be our #1 striker, cause he plays where one is supposed to.

Decent build up, but Mane making the decisive impact. Slowed the game right down in the box then burst past a man and clipped it into Origi with a neat back healed finish.

Burton are a no-frills team with good solid players but little flair. Up front they don't have much pace; Beavon is decent and O'Grady is very strong in the air. The pace comes from the wing-backs, Dyer is lightening quick (even at 33) and Akins is very direct and very dangerous as he gets on the end of lots of things for them. Centre midfield is their weak spot but as they play 3-5-2 they throw and extra man in there, but that said they have a very average 3 in the middle of the pitch. The 3 at the back are decent; McFadzean is the weak link but they other 2 (Mousinho & Turner) are very solid Championship players.

Potentially a tricky game but if we play anywhere near our full potential then we shouldn't have too many problems..................1-3.
For the record (and as I mentioned in the betting forum) Burton have rested several players in lieu of a big derby game (literally, against Derby) on Friday. IMO the changes have marginally improved them in central midfield but definitely weakened them defensively as they have rested their 2 best CB's. We should hit at least 3 or 4 against this defence.

Seriously. Mane is our most valuable player

We need to wrap him in cotton wool

I disagree on Clyne - he's well appreciated for his one attacking skill, which is an overlap and cross from the right. That's where it kind of ends, though...

Unfortunately this game could have easily gone the other direction with a correct penalty call on Lovren in the 2nd minute. With our fragile constitution I wouldn't have been too optimistic that it would end comfortably.
