I suppose they may see it as theri swan song, or the last of their fifteen minutes of "fame".

When the ownership issue is resolved as it surely will be they will lose their reason for being.
That said I am sure that when that does happen , even with a very reduced membership (not that it's large now) it will be in their interests to remain a pain in the arse whatever happens.
The club and the official fan club, needs to get it's act together and be a viable and credible conduit

Is the right answer. That said many 'normal' fans are members not quite understanding what they're members of or even understanding the full picture.
