I didn't mean it to come out fact-like to be honest.
Its my opinion based on what Ive read, seen and heard. From both parties mind.
To me it seems rather obvious that he thinks highly of Agger.

Saying things in the press is one thing anyway, what matters is on the pitch, where Skrtel played every minute of every game last season. Actions speak louder and all that.
Like I said, I couldn't care less whom he prefers, there are clearly issues anyway over the combination of our three main centre backs as none of them are akin to big Sami and I guess that, along with Carra's age and Agger's injuries (where is he again btw?), is why we're on the look out for another centre half.

PS Ahy is it ok for posters to believe/asume Kenny prefers Skrtel without them having to stick up for themselves?

Kris, who's said he prefers Skrtel? It wasn't even an issue, it only becomes an issue when you start 'telling' us he prefers Agger.

When did he give him the Captaincy? You mean the first two friendlies when Carragher actually started both games as Captain? Agger came on in this side below for the first game and started alongside Carra in the second game:

Richey asked if you think he's going to be first choice. I'd say this is on the assumption that Carra will be along with whomever we sign, with Skrtel in reserve and Agger more than likely in and out through injury.

Plus if Agger weren't made of glass you'd be proven right time and again, unfortunately its such a big if. And he does suffers from the disease of putting too much weight on internationals like Gerrard.

Although both Agger and Skrtel both have their virtues as players, I doubt whether either will ever be a dominant presence at the back as was Sami Hyypia. I don't think either of them is a particularly good header of the ball, and Skrtel doesn't have the confidence that a great centre-back ought to have. When a cross is coming over, you can see him dithering about how he needs to deal with it.
If the question is just 'do you think Agger would be Kenny's first choice', then providing he is fit, I would think the answer would be yes. Agger is the nearest
thing at the club to Hansen, and I think that Daldlish would pair Agger up with Carragher most of the time given both's availability.

Back on topic: Reina. We need him back to his best. He wasn't bad last season but it was his worst in LFC.
Re Agger: we won't probably know who Kenny prefers as Agger most probably Will be injured (sadly). I hope he stays fit the whole season but can anyone see that happening?
