Carroll wasn't allowed? Have you seen the link up between Suarez and Sturridge?
Now imagine Carroll doing that.

Dont pretend to be daft. Noone is arguing that Sturridge was not a good addition to our team. That doesn´t rule out that it was stupid to go for Borini instead of Carroll in the summer.

Does no one actually know what happened between Rodgers and Carroll last season on the final game of the season?? There is no chance he will ever play for Rodgers, even if he had cost eleventy million pounds.

I'm intrigued. I have no idea what you are alluding to but would like to know.

If he was any good there wouldnt be need to bring in someone equally expensive) pushing him down the pecking order.

Even though we play with three strikers and Borini has played wide a fair bit? We've got three spots and six players vying for those roles, which is what we want to have. I agree he hasn't set the World alight, but don't change the script, it was pretty clear in the Summer he wanted BOTH players.

I somehow have that feeling that Carroll will never make it at top level. Borini just might (although his first season with us hasn't been promising either)

I dont think watching us for the next 12 games will do Borini any harm at all.
Writing him off is retarded.
21 years old and played 8 games.
We USED to allow our players to grow up at other clubs and come to us fully formed. Those days are gone with the age of paying 20 to 30m for a player hitting his peak. We are watching the new generation (allen, borini, sturridge, shelvey, Sterling, wisdom etc) growing up in public, and those games where they struggled in the past at Middlesbrough or Molde or Twente or wherever and we didnt see it are now played out before us, so every cunt is an expert on 'who will make it'
Every single one of these lads deserves time, and I mean years to become top players. If you dont like it, fuck off and watch Man City or Real Madrid yeah!

I hope some of these boys make some of you men look like cunts one day.

It's a shame I can't like this more than once

nah i'm only taking piss but as great as it would be to give these lads loads of time the reality is we can't . i've no problem being reasonably patient as long as there are signs they can reach the level i believe we should be aiming for . obviously that is the debate ,do they look to really have the potential. for me with borini i don't think he has the base to really add to and be top quality . Same with shelvey .

wouldn't our sigs clash then ?
Fuck youre right.
Id have to change it to 'I agree'
Problem is mostly y'all talk shit
This is a proper conundrum.

I will retire to the study for an hour or two of contemplation.
Await my response when The Lying Rag turns the east sky red.

I'd love to take the high road here and state that I always give our younger players time, but at times it's pretty obvious that they don't cut it.
I mean a lot posters on this forum have been guilty of acting like proper cunts regarding some of our young signings. Lucas and Insua for instance.

To be honest I haven't seen anything from Borini, so far, that would convince me that he's going to be a good signing. However, he did well for Roma and that's why I'm willing to reserve my judgement.

He hasn't done anything at all, to show why we paid so much money for him. Obviously he's had it tough on the injury front.

He may well do next season if given the chance. I'm not too bothered if he is or isn't given that chance.

Looks like they found a permanent fix to the dislocated shoulder:

Top post.

I have not seen enough of the lad to judge and regardless I wouldn't want him injured no apportion blame for that. I hope the club rallies round him and he recovers well.
