I wonder whether Venkys will get away with the slogan "good for you" at the end. The Advertising Standards Authority are quite picky about claims like that from food manufacturers. It's true that chicken meat is supposed to be better for you than red meat, but the chicken on view in the commercial doesn't look that healthy, especially the chicken legs covered with sticky sauce. ;D

Forgive me if I'm being daft, but is Venkys an actual brand end users can buy? If so fair enough. If not, then considering the buyers they're marketing to will be influenced almost solely by margins of profit, this advert is a waste of fucking space, & the money spent on it would be better placed dropping their cost price by a penny temporarily to gain market share.

Just done some research (okay, I lied, two mins googling) & it appears they are wholesale, they sell to hotels etc.

So my point stands, this advert is fucking useless to them, it just appears to have been made for fans of every other club to laugh at.

On their website, they name drop KFC & some big name hotels, how the fuck they think this ad will help keep those customers is beyond me. Yes, taking them to corporate boxes against us & Utd etc may sway a bit, but not a fucking advert.
