I was thinking about johnson's decesion myself. chelsea top of the league and already qualfied for the 2nd stage of the CL. liverpool, midtable mediocrity and in europa. his choice must give him nightmares.

I couldn't care less anymore, as long as Benitez, Eggnog, Lucarse, Insua et al are all out of the club by next season I will be happy enough
I'm not on a knee jerk here. I haven't for a long time even considered Benitez out, but come on evidence is building up. How many world class athletes are in our squad? its under 5 and I am counting Pepe. Trickery, Brain Power, gritt only gets you so far. If you run up against those same qualities in a fast strong athlete you get over powered easily. Michael Essien and Lucas Leiva both are undroppables to there manager.
I think he has handled the Keane and Aqua integrations very poorly. He refuses to drop a 2nd striker from a formation with only one striker. And when he has finally trained most of the striker out of him he puts him as a lone striker effectively leaving us with no point of attack for 65% of the time. Gerrard is a midfielder not because he can't play everywhere on the pitch because its the most important are of you team. You can compensate but nothing makes a great team quite like some outstanding midfielders.
He doesn't tell us anything. I want an honest manager. No more of this shit, "we are working on it" "there is kwality in the skwad" "We must control the game" (i'd try and win it)
P.S. The last part was a clear exaggeration, wrong time considering emotions. But what I mean is it looks and smells like Rafa plays favorites towards certain types of players. And that can freeze people out of the side that deserve a chance. And then they leave or have to go on an amazing run of form like Yossi did to get back into the side and then be played regardless of form or position.
