I'm down in Bangkok for the next 3 days, lovely place and a wonderful hotel but in terms of World cup viewing i seem to be shit outta luck.

Normally this wluldnt present a problem but does anyone from round these parts know where i can get to watch the games? Especially the England game, which will be at a glorious 5am on Friday morn.

Any Bangkok folk on here??

@Molbystwin - Get your ass down to the Khao San Road in Bangkok. It's easy to just tuk tuk it over there. There are literally 40-50 places showing all the footy with English commentary. 🙂

I can't believe you can't find anywhere to watch it. I was in Kao San Road in '98 and you couldn't not see it. Weird.
On a non footballing matter I highly recommend a drink up in the Sky Bar at the Lebua Hotel. Fucking ace.

The english commentary is a bonus too, i watched the first game in Vietnamese, although i that apparently was better than Phil Neville...

The games will all be on in Patpong area too. There is an English pub at one end over the main road. Sure it'll be on in there. Time diff allowing.

I'd pick Khao San Road over Patpong (unless you are in the mood for barfines and ping pong 😉) You can walk between the two anyway from memory.
