I remember that phrase he used when explaining why he was going: 'All those years...' He sounded absolutely exhausted. As hard as nails but, in stark contrast to Ginsoak, effortlessly charming, he never seemed to be disliked, even by fans of those clubs he was beating as a matter of routine. And unlike Mourinho, everything he did was for the team, not himself.
