This is the biggest issue. Of course they see faults with him, nobody denies his faults, they adore him despite those faults because of the job he has done as president. The other side, I don't know what it is, they don't follow finance as closely so when Trump changes the tax rate, or a tariff, they have no sense of how that translates to a job in their town. So they end up ignoring those actual cause and effect factors, and instead judge Trump upon his personality, and his character, and everything else which translates to sweet fuck all in their towns. For me it's about america have the longest economic data sets on earth, and if they go into the gutter economically I'll have to use shorter economic data sets from asia which will reduce the confidence I have in my models. (CNN)The Justice Department's top election crimes prosecutor resigned Monday in protest after Attorney General William Barr told federal prosecutors that they should examine allegations of voting irregularities before states move to certify results in the coming weeks.
Richard Pilger, director of the elections crimes branch in the Justice Department's Public Integrity Section, told colleagues in an email that the attorney general was issuing "an important new policy abrogating the forty-year-old Non-Interference Policy for ballot fraud investigations in the period prior to elections becoming certified and uncontested." Pilger also forwarded the memo to colleagues in his resignation letter.
Pilger will remain a prosecutor in the Justice unit that investigates public corruption.
