You're being ridiculous. Every politician uses tele-prompters. He misspoke and quickly corrected himself, I see absolutely no issue here. I've heard Biden speak hundreds of times off the cuff with reporters etc to know this is not an empty suit reading from the prepared lines – not to mention running a competent administration and dealing with some of the most high-pressure decision-making environment I've ever seen from a US President.

I don't agree with you lot – I think Biden is far from an "awful choice," in fact he is one of the only remaining Democrats who retains an authentic connection to the party's working-class roots. I'm afraid once people like him are gone, the Left will get completely untethered from the blue-collar folks, other than some actual socialists offering to blow up the system and eat the rich... Plus he's very solid on foreign policy and his morals are in the right place. That's definitely more than enough for me to forgive an occasional gaffe, which he was always prone to even in his younger days.

And while I don't have the professional expertise of @Judge Jules, I think the whole "dementia" angle has been at best wildly overblown by the Right to take away focus from Trump, who is an actual demented fucktard and weirdo. I mean, the guy's foot got stuck in a bike pedal and he lost balance for a second and they talked about this on Fox incessantly for days – meanwhile their guy can barely walk and is still proud of himself for "acing" a basic cognitive test.

There is absolutely nothing left wing about Biden or the Democratic Party. Biden was guided to the presidential candidacy (like Hilary before him) because he's the status quo candidate.
