I'm sorry Oncy but anyone who can't find Sami a place in their top 5 ahead of Reina or Bruce just have issues.
1. Sami
1. Molby I just can't separate these two. I used to watch Molby and think he was a marvel - in fact I'd argue the best players in our team with anybody and champion Molby almost every time. Sami, however, was just incredible; his performance against Juventus in our CL run is the stuff of legend, his reading of the game was exceptional and the way he re-invented himself to start hitting those beautiful passes was masterful.
3. Alonso (a really good Spanish attempt at cloning Molby).
4. Didi He was just outstanding for so many years.
5.Babbel One of the truly unfair curses of nature - what a player he could have turned out to be.
6. Torres
7. Garcia
8. Grobbelaar I'm not sure he was better than Reina but his performance in Rome and my general love for him helped me overlook his hobby.
9. Reina
10. Craig Johnston

There should be some rule against dredging up old posts in threads which arent relevant to their context

Hahaha.
I agree with Wizardry's list, though Grobbelaar, being a cunt would go out the list and Berger would come in at 10th.

Haha. You had to sneak that one in didn't you? Towards the bottom where you thought noone would notice eh?

Haha I know I took me chances... 😀
To be honest though I don't think it's only down to me beeing a blinkered fool. Some of it may be but not all.
Babbel was awesome that one Season but with only about 50 games to his name I reckon Agger just edges him by now. Garcia's inclusions baffles me a bit. I know he had his splendid moments but no-way he was overall better than say John Arne. At least not in my opinion.

Babbel helped us set a record or two during the Treble season.

i meant personal/player records. Obviously he was massive factor in our successes
