AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi believes Mario Balotelli's off-the-field "behaviour" will prevent him from putting on the Rossoneri shirt in the future. "There is a Milan style of behaviour that I don't think is very close to that of Balotelli. Every now and then, he has a bit of a distraction," said Berlusconi of the Manchester City striker, who is an AC Milan fan.

Hypocrisy at its sublime best

Haha, yeah, Bunga-bunga Berlusconi strikes again.

Man, am I glad we didn't go after Balotelli when it was being mooted a while ago.

I'd still go after him ... Get him to meet Ronaldo (the original) and try and get something out of one of the most talented kids ... Yes he's an immature, brash twat at times (but then again, what talented footy players - even those who've achieved little - aren't?)

Strongly disagree, Wizzy. For one thing not all players are like that, but for another (and more importantly) Balotelli's been given numerous chances already and wasted them all. He IS immensely talented, but that's not worth a light if he can't make it count.

The one way I can see him fulfilling that talent is if he goes home to Italy - he's too immature to make it anywhere else IMO, probably always will be - and drops down a level, to a team which is still in Serie A but gets less publicity, with a good coach who can try and get past all the feathers Balotelli keeps in his head instead of brains. IF that works, he might get back into a top Serie A side eventually.

Well he certainly will not get a chance in the Azzurri squad under Prandelli.

He won't put up with his bullshit, as shown by him being dropped for the internationals in the last week due to his behaviour at club level.

He's a complete loon Wizzy

He said recently he'd stop his extravagance if he got to meet Ronaldo - his idol. Let him meet him ... and if that fails, whatever.

But I don't care if he's a loon - he's got talent and someone WILL harness it ...

Players like him are a rarity - it's worth the risk.

There were probably people saying the same about Cassano - who would be more appropriate for Balotelli to meet. He's ended up playing well at a mid-table club, but he's wasted his talent.

Either way, I don't see what meeting someone (particularly Ronaldo) has got to do with his behaviour. The fact that he's bringing it up even is mental.

I thought Mancini was supposed to be the person who understood Balotelli best? He's not done a tip top job of controlling him up to now.

Can't diss Cassano!

By the time he was 23 he'd fornicated with over 400 women. 8)

Also, he's scored in every major derby for the clubs he's played for.

But yeah, could have been a much better player than he is.

Christ, this kid's almost on my level!
But Balotelli is complete cock whose complete lunacy far outweighs his admittedly considerable talent.
The bib-saga the other week povided a great insight into the mentality of the lad.
Anyone else, I'd have just laughed off as 'arr he's having a nightmare here' but with him it shows him up to be a thick bastard who wants everything handed to him in life just because he's a good footballer.
You'd think he would have some humility too being raised by Foster parents and not having a great life as a kid etc.

400? Wilt the Stilt raised him by 2.5

Then Magic (LA) raises Wilt by 3

Ha.

I think the mad one is great value.

City have spent around £110mil on 5 strikers, 2 are out on loan, 1 looks very average so far, 1 will leave this summer and the other 1 is a loopy MF.
