Well. Ish. But he's obviously still restless, which is a bit sad, seeing as there was a time when he was competing neck and neck with Mourinho. He keeps talking about this 'project' of his but I wonder if he has the appetite for it any more. I suspect Hicks and Gillett wore him out.

He lives in a hotel room at the training ground in Napoli away from his family. It must knock the edge off any enthusiasm he once had, especially as he was unfairly criticised for going home to the Wirral for 3 days during an international break! Even for someone as singleminded about football as Benitez it cannot be good for his mental health. I cannot understand why Newcastle haven't gone for him, it would have been fun seeing how he got on with Ashley!
