Yep, they do. I don't think we have anybody that talented in Klopp's first choice first eleven.
Not that age, I hate to say it but that kid Rashford got some of that talent.
It's obviously a lot easier to play upfront at 18 than at the back, more often than not for physical reasons but still...thats a whole lot of goals for being 18-19 and playing in the premiership while it still was regarded as a very tough league.

Owen and Fowler were two of the best players in the league on the planet when they were in their late teens/early twenties.

They were extraordinary when we had them.

Alexander-Arnold was getting flak yesterday even though he was one of the most productive players in the premier league this weekend. Forget Wales, Woodburn would be booed after a few games. Fickleness reigns.

Correct

Unless you're a stupendous talent in an attacking area, you're on to a loser getting games for us

Woodburn in this shite of a midfield could ruin him

I'm all for giving young players a chance when they're on form, because, apart from having earned the reward of a first team place, they'll be spurred on by the naive fearlessness of youth and the adrenaline rush that comes from being in a big game. But fans have to appreciate the nature of that impact. These players will pretty soon calm down, get a bit scared when they make a mistake (see TAA), and hit a bit of a wall in terms of energy and confidence. Then they'l need a spell back out, playing in the reserves, working on technical issues etc. Then they'll come back. We just need to guard against judging them too quickly, positively or negatively. Woodburn is a very bright talent but he hasn't even found his best position yet.
