Babel has looked quite good in pre season, so i hope he gets another go at home this week. We should at least give him every chance to succeed this season, playing him in one game and then bombing him out won't help us or Babel.
oh, and obviously if he does play against Stoke and scores 5 it will be marvelous, I just don't see it and don't see how he would deserve to start ahead of Yossi or Riera.

I'm biased but I call a spade a spade I'm not blinkered to think babel wasn't poor for most of last season and poor today. I get that, I understand that but you'd think he was largly responsible for the dross dished up today, like he was the reason team mates couldn't find each other, or he was the reason our defenders were all over the place or he was the reason there was no urgency whatsoever until the first goal went in.

Kuyt - played johnson in for the run to the pen, crossed that torres almost headed home.

We were shit collectively, but some of the lads have earned the right to underperform once in a while babel has not. He ALWAYS underperforms. In 3 years you could count his good performances on 1 hand. He isnt going to suddenlly become the answer. Hes as old as messi ffs.
