Ryan Babel has brought his three-year Anfield career to an end by signing for German outfit Hoffenheim.

The Dutch winger has penned a two and a half year deal with the Bundesliga outfit with the option of a further year.

Everybody at Liverpool Football Club would like to wish Ryan the best of luck at his new club.

haha, yeah. i was in a watching that in a corporate box at the emirates and all the assembled suits outside didn't look too impressed by my uncouth screaming, it was no way for a proper football fan to behave tbf.

Hoffenheim got knocked of the German Cup tonight by a team from the 2nd tier of German football. Bearing in mind Hoffenheim have only won 6 out of 19 games this season I fear his wait for a medal is not going to end soon.

I hate to break this to you but I have not received a slap in the face today, leading me to a number of possible conclusions:
1. You died before the time machine and/or computer face slapping machine was invented
2. In the future you have a bad memory
3. Babel was a useless bag of shit for all of his future clubs and you decided that Refugee was correct.
4. You miscalculated and slapped the wrong person.

I'm guessing option 3, however given Paddys antics today I'm hoping it was number 4.

Babel's 1st contribution on his debut is an assist (for Vorsah) that helped Hoffenheim take the lead in the 4th min away at Schalke. Not a bad start. Game going on now.

I think he made his debut this week against a non league team in the cup, and Hoffenheim lost.

Still, good start in the league.

not going to hear a peep out of me regardless how babel does. sometimes things just don't work out, I will say I have respect for babel, he didn't sulk despite not being played, didn't demand more playing time and took a pay cut so he could play football.

A player who plays every game and is important and very loved at the club wants to leave and get the permission to leave

A player who don't play a lot complains and wanna leave but the club don't let the player go

There is no other club then Liverpool with the anthem " YNWA " !!! #Beautiful
