Why?

I don't think it is. Babel has no heart, that's my biggest problem with him. Most players who have moaned as much as Babel has, in that situation unless it was super serious, would have tried to play on for a while to see is they could shake it off. Babel was practically forced back on the pitch, and didn't even attempt to run it off, funny how he started moving a bit more freely after Gerrard had a word though, huh?

Like I say, I'd like to know how serious it is cos to be it just looked like Babel bottling it and copping out like he always does.

That kind of incident can certainly be agony and I'm not surprised he couldn't put much weight on the foot. Anyway, as the Echo predicted last week, every time this idiot goes back to the Netherlands he talks to the press and then insists he's been mistranslated when he gets back here. And as for Benitez bawling at him - has he not noticed that Sammy Lee also leaps out of the dugout to scream abuse at him for ignoring instructions - usually shortly after the daft twerp has just come on? What a child he is!

I have now. apologise to ryan

Maybe I am reading too much into this but when he got injured, the only person to walk over to him was Gerrard and he was pleading with him to get up and try to run the injury off. When he could not and was walking away, Gerrard barely acknowledged him and neither did any of his team mates. It is normally different when some others get injured.

I've finally lost patience with Babel, he's a big jessy who clearly thinks he's far better than he actually is.

Sell him please Rafa.

cast comes off on friday mate. one leg is already a lot smaller than the other one. can't wait to get in a swimming pool and strengthen my ankle and build some strength back up. knee has a lovely scar where it was stapled back together but i reckon i'll get most if not all of my movement back, thank God.

itching to get back on a bike, though with this weather i think it'll have to wait till the new year now.

as for babel, ffs 'i like wearing my blue boots!!' this boy is behaving like a spoiled child. sell him. i'd be happy with 5 or 6 million and a lesson learned for our scouts to check the colour boots of future signings.

I'm really pleased that you're OK, but I do think that after an accident like that, it is best to get "back in the saddle" again as soon as possible.

Why wait until New Year? Take advantage of those lovely, crisp, dark, icy winter roads.

Good to hear mate.

I'd accept nearly any offer for him, if it meant not having to watch him strop around in a half arsed manner for us anymore.

Hahahaha!

What about your gold-plated helicopter? Do you every fly that in winter?

Whatever you drive or fly, I hope you crash in it.

Stay safe!

Ha ha. You're on form since that one-day ban.

Souey is in one of his 'good' intimidating moods on Sky. Predictably, Keys tried to use the Babel quotes to start a debate about the club 'collapsing' and Souey just swatted the whole nonsense away with deserved contempt. Then Gray tried it and Souey shut him up, too.

Haha, excellent.

I think we've found a friend for Roger Rederer.

I wonder if it's to do with his heart medication, but he sounds a bit frail these days. He still looks like he'd chin Keys and Gray, but the voice is strangely weak.
