You're thinking of the large rock in Australia.Pam?
Managers are easy for us to name in terms of our favourites. I'm sure any of use could rattle off 5 or 6 names we'd want to see as Liverpool manager. But what of the DOF? Anyone got someone in mind who would be great for us AND willing to come do the job?
Dalglish and Houllier are outside shots who would be great for sentimental reasons, but we need someone who has great player knowledge and who can set up systems from top to bottom. Most importantly, someone who spends well. Not suggesting Kenny of Houllier can't, but I'm sure there are better options out there.

All need to go.
Who came up with the TC as a solution to Rodgers wanting no DOF
It was doomed to failure. I suspect it was Ayres Rodgers wont go yet, But Ayres should he's the slippery sod on the step to the sewer.
Rodgers was name-dropping Ayre the other day as someone who he respects, has a strong relationship with, supported blah blah blah. It seems like Ayre played a big part in saving him over the summer. Given the way organisations work, that means when Rodgers goes, Ayre will have to follow right behind him. That day will be a glorious day. And it is coming. For I have seen it.
I'm not Ayre's biggest fan but I doubt this was down to him TBH. My bet is FSG themselves came up with the idea in an attempt to sidestep Rodgers' objection to working under a DOF, without completely abandoning the idea of some kind of direct football-related input into the manager's choices.
