Aurelio called up by Dunga

What I remember the most about Warnock was his always occurring cramps towards the dying minutes of any game he had started.

I don't think he was in bad shape or anything, he just ran a bit to much for his own good.

Decent player. Nothing spectacular. Pretty much the same as Dossena I reckon.

there is not a fan out there that would have had us rather keep warnock rather than buy doseena. come on khl they are no way pretty much the same. that's like saying agger and titus bramble are pretty much the same

Insua's better than Warnock was at the same age.

Despite his moments og glory, Riise had to be moved on. I'd rather have Aurellio & Insua than Riise.

Dosenna is terrible though. As was Traore... but I culd never understand what possessed anyone to ever play him, at LB.

Mind you... didn't we make a profit on him when we sold him... not that it would have been hard since we paid very little... but still...

Yes, playing in the Coca-Cola Championship. I would have thought that inconceivable for someone who's "10 times better" than a first choice midfielder for Liverpool, and current player for the No. 1 ranked International side in the World, but who am I to argue with your logic Bren?

Believe it or not, I don't mind Dossena. He's not going to cut it with us, much like Warnock I suppose, but that's not to say he's not capable. He was in the Italian squad before he joined us so he must have been doing something right in Serie A. He, as has been pointed out before, is obviously too slow for the Premier League. His touch is good mind, his ability on the ball is better than that of Warnock, and he's proved ok as a sub, but that's about it.

Warnock is a recipient of that smaller club syndrome; whereby he doesn't get scrutinised to the levels he would for us, and as such is deemed to be doing better than he actually is. Kinda like Kirkland at Coventry I suppose. He's a likeable sort, is full of heart, and doesn't shirk anything. But he's fucking garbage on the ball, is largely shite going forward, and wouldn't cut it at any level above where he's currently at.

Is spot on.

Brendan should buy a calming pet like a cat or something, maybe a gerbil.

A fish tank can be relaxing.
