Oh, the “clear and obvious error” thing is complete bollocks. An error is an error. If it can be spotted via VAR, it should be corrected. Surely it’s better to have less errors in the game?

I interpret the clear and obvious error rule as "the don't embarrass the referee" rule. Its stupid the whole point of VAR is to cactch things the referee couldnt have spotted in real time, why then put another rule to prevent using the technology, just to protect the referees ego?
