Well, then, he obviously doesn't understand it, and should stop it. I thought players weren't supposed to be trying to wind up opposing fans after scoring. That little creep makes it his speciality.

I too banged the Arshavin > Keane drum when we were linked to both although it's unfair to suggest Rafa chose Keane over Arshavin because all the indications at the time were that Arshavin preferred Spain over England and if he were to go to England it HAD to be London.

I too recall that Arshavin was very particular about where he would go and even refused to go to Spurs as they weren't in the Champs league. As you said his prefferred destination was Spain followed by a London club in the Champions league.
We were also reported to have made a late bid to sneak him from under the noses of Arsenal last January, but there was nothing doing then either.
I would have much prefferred to see Arshavin here over Keane but the fact that he apparently didn't want to come here gets overlooked by people with an agenda to fill.
