Could that article be further up United's crack?

Manchester United yesterday began talks with Samir Nasri's representatives, as their early summer activity continued to frustrate Arsenal and leave other clubs trailing in their wake.

haha, bellends, welcome to the SS ScumTits, where Captain Baconface will crash that ship into an iceberg of debts

I said the same thing in one of the other threads last night, they look to be losing a few players for next season.

When Carra and Gerrard were on Sunday Supplement a few weeks back, Carra was talking about the psychological impact on the team the season after we finishes second, the way falling just short effects the team as it kinda confirms you're not good enough and how basically a couple of bad results made the team fall apart. I really think the same thing could happen to Arsenal next season.

Nasri for 8 million would be ridiculous.

Surely Wenger would give him to Barca at end of his contract before allowing him go to United.

Wenger won't lose both Fabregas and Nasri. My gut feel is Fabregas is off to Barca and Nasri will be played through the middle.

Dont think Nasri will go. Id actually be surprised if Fergie even wants him. He prefers proper wingers and it would be a big risk putting him in the centre of a 4-4-2.

I'm not really that bothered about Arsenal to be honest.
I'm more worried about how we perform. It's in our own hands so to speak.
Capitalizing on Arsenal being weakened seems a tad bit defeatist.

My point seems to have become lost in translation somewhat.
Basically fourth place has sort of become viewed as an uphill struggle because City can go and spend £200m in the transfer window and think nothing of it and its always been assumed Arsenal will never be weak enough to drop out, but the cracks are starting to show in the Arsenal squad, was pretty much alls I was getting at.

Its a good point Paul, but in fairness, I don't buy this on paper lark. Once the ball is kicked, things look differently, and we hammered city at home, and looked more convincing for a lot of the close season... Considering the season we had, we still came sixth. Forth will be very attainable next season, Arsenal implosion or not (Which is welcomed)/ We all spent too much of this season ruminating about how hard it would be to get back into the top 4/ there's no need, we're well good enough

Barcelona wing-back Dani Alves understands the situation of wantaway Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas and believes the Gunners should not stop the midfielder making the step up to "business class" by rejoining the Catalan club this summer.

Alves has compared his own situation to that of the 24-year-old Spain international, remembering how he wanted to leave Sevilla to join Barca three years ago.

"I understand that he doesn't want to leave Arsenal on bad terms but I can understand why he would force the motor to come to Barca," he told Spanish radio station RAC-1.

"Players always end up playing where they want to play and a club shouldn't keep an unhappy player."

Alves engineered his own Sevilla exit and claims Fabregas should do the same.

"I forced my exit from Sevilla; I saw the train passing by and I wanted to be in business class," he said.

They love signing mega-talented uber cunts

It's just classless, I really want to like them for their amazing football but as a club they are just a bunch of smarmy, tappy-uppy cunts .

Why do Barca players get away with it time and time again?
ever since I was little barca has always been my second team but in recent years I've gone right off them because they've turned into a team full of cunts.

I fear City are going to win the league
They won't, because they'll still be a squad of overpriced 'stars' instead of a team.

city will be as inconsistent as ever. if they secured the services of jose, then maybe but with the italian, no chance.

Well 3rd with 71 points and FA Cup in an inconsistent season wasnt that bad.

They will be more consistent this year I think with a few more points that will make them title contenders

Another twist in the Fabregas saga?

"Im sorry to all the fans in Asia that I wont be on the tour. After just returning from Indonesia I know how special u all r. Ill make it up."

Van Persie and Theo both only have 2 years left on their current contracts..if they hold out then Arse will be in more trouble next summer.

I'm sure cesc spent all his time with the locals in Indonesia. Not in a five star hotel or anything, no.

"i'll make it up"

He's blatently signing a bumper new deal then, he is and will be an icon for the Gunners and rightly so, that's a big thing to pass up on. I don't think he'll leave Le Arse until he's in his twilight years as we saw with Terry Henry.

BBC reporting Almunia and Bendtner in talks with unnamed clubs

wholesale clear-out!

Van Persie said in an interview that this summer is big for the club, and he wasnt sure he'd sign a new contract. Read somewhere that Theo was also considering his options.

Wenger has got a job on his hands.

Van Persie wont go. He loves it at Arsenal. So long as we make reasonable improvements he'll stay till he's near done. As for Theo, as much as i like him, he's perfectly replaceable
