Are we turning into the tougher, British Barca?

It's all work-rate and physicality too, but the passing and movement is going in that direction.

How do you see us playing next season?

On current trend I imagine a very smooth passing, but also dogged and edgy side, all following Suarez's example going forward.

I said something of the sort in the match thread. One touch football, hunting in packs and Dirk Kuyt.

I'm sure Kenny has added a touch of the Barca's to his philosophy.

We've also got the Barca mkII youth project underway.

I dont want to be compared to Barca.

I know they are a great team, and its a compliment to be compared to them (even if its among ourselves) but I still don't want that.

I didn't mean to suggest that they are everything we would wish to emulate.

But a more physical version of that would be quite special.

Of course it would be amazing.
I just look forward to a whole season.

I said after the defeat to Manc and Blackpool in King Kennys first two games I was happy. I knew we would develop and get better, you could see we had already started but I didnt expect us to be this good

No.

Barcelona are in the league of their own.

The Brittish team to get close to that style is Arsenal and even they pale in comparison.

I'd rather say we are turning into the Kenny's Liverpool of old.

F*ck being labelled the new anything bar LFC.

That's good, because Kenny's Liverpool of old would blow a hole through Barca, assuming any of the pansies dared to come out on to the pitch when they saw Graeme Souness.

We are playing well... BUT a loooong looooooong loooooooooooooong way to go.

Things are certainly positive but compairing us to Barcelona is laughable.
