Official Club Statement

Chester City Football Club was officially put up for sale yesterday (25 Jan. 2010).

The owners will accept bids from the CFU, local businessmen or other interested parties.

The club will be sold for £1.00 on condition that the purchaser agrees to pay all outstanding creditors and provide proof of funding to take the club forward.

Full disclosure will be made available to potential purchasers, subject to proof of funding being made available.

Mike Blood of Brabners Chaffe Street, 55 Kings Street, Manchester, M2 4LQ has been instructed to act on the clubs behalf in connection with the sale.

My first action as new mutil-pound owner of Chester would be to reappoint Mark Wright .

(Bates did buy Chelsea for a quid by the way)
 
I'd appoint Steve Coppell.
Then I'd loan in Pacheco, Amoo, Gibson, De leat and simonsen. Then sign one almost totally past it senior pro like hamman. Job done.

I'm sure the debt is more than I could afford to shoulder right now but I am a little curious. Hopefully my Irish attorney will come back with the details.
 
Will someone please buy the club and change the name that will make Man City and Man Utd angry?

Like "Man Chester Football Club" or summat like that? 😉
