Another Bobby

He's very highly rated. Didn't even know we were after him. Quite happy with this.

Wrapped to get him in, especially being Gerrard’s cousin, him and Brewster to dominate in a few years for us hopefully

Great signing, another young talent who will be pushing for first team football soon. I think we have the makings of some very talented players if we find the opportunity to give them time on the pitch

You're missing the fact that his name is probably just Bob or Robert, so indeed he is the one who has subsequently chosen to refer to himself as Bobby.

I dunno. These days kids are christened with shortened names; Archie, Ollie, Millie and the fucking wannabe like.

I wonder how he'll celebrate signing his deal.

It's not that apparent yet, granted, but in a year or so I think the club's actions will look like phenomenal business: in the space of a year or so we've added probably the three best-rated young English strikers of their generation to the club: Brewster (an absolute certainty as far as I'm concerned to become a major attacking talent at senior level), Solanke and Duncan. That's pretty amazing work.

You had me until Sola......

Yep.

His head seems to have the same aspect ratio issue that Shaqiri suffers from all over.

His wider set eyes might give him better peripheral vision than our other strikers. If so, then the poorly named bastard might start picking out passes like Jari Litmanen and we'll win the league.

There's been a couple of studies of professional footballers that has proven a wider peripheral vision is commonplace in the higher levels of the sport actually.

The same result could in theory be achieved by reconstructive surgery. An entirely accidental collision on the training ground, airlifted to hospital, some slight rearrangement of the skull, one month of recovery, and you come out with a new and improved footballer.

ha....

but to be fair its so hard for prospects to break through at Premiership level that even if you've got three great prospects if one makes it you're probably doing well
