And the moment they saw that Carroll wasn't having his way with those cunting defenders and ref, what did they do? Continued to pump the ball up to him anyway.
This was one of the most frustrating games in a long while, simply because we're completely wasting the talent on offer up front.
 
Agreed. And I think that will continue to happen until we actually get some wingers in this summer.

We need A LOT of players.
 
Andy was consistently fouled and deliberately body checked. Nothing given to him at all.
 
Carroll shouldn't be lambasted today. His link up play was good, he worked hard and he made good use of the little he had to work with.

Our creativity was Kuyt, Meireles, Lucas and Spearing. It's not enough.
