From the 77 games Torres and Gerrard have played together they have scored 86 goals.
Gerrard with 39 and Torres 47.

On their way to become premierships best ever strike partnerships.

Torres has only one way of scoring goals though.

Receive the ball, shimmy to the side, and put it in the corner.

Get a new trick ffs.

Not sure whether Ryan is posting with tongue firmly in his cheek. A Manc supporter said exactly the same thing to me on Saturday and I analyzed Torres' last 5 goals (well that is as far my memory goes!). 1 header, 2 going down the left, powering or beating the defender and scored, one with left foot and one with left foot. 2 down the right-ish centre, beating a goalie and a few defenders scoring one with left leg and another with right leg. Yeah, he does not have long range shots like Stevie. Go score from outside the box Torres. 😉 And maybe a few simple tap ins.

TBH, as long as he puts it in the net at the rate he is right now, I really don't care if he receives the ball, does the Riverdance and only scores with the left side of his head.

He's dull as fuck.

'look at me receiving the ball, shunting it past a defender, and slapping it into the net 30+ times'

Whatever.

Refer him to Van Horseface.

He's scored thunderbolts against Sunderland and Boro (x2)

all torres does is score goals and offer fuck all else*

apart from his five assists (so far) which must have happened using the power of his mind

Long range. short range, tap ins, dribbles, power, sidefoot, left foot, right foot, head, Kenny style chips.

Who else could (consistently) score in so many ways?

I assume you're taking the piss. One of Torres's great strengths is scoring all kinds of goals.

The only type of goal he rarely scores is an ugly one.
