So friday - Comolli more or less says that's that for transfers and people think that come Monday we'll have signed someone else?

Wage bill is too high. Was already & now 4 in & 2 out.

Common sense means we need to ship out a couple before we buy.
 
Didn't he intimate that we'll have to sit back and take stock before anyone else is even considered, I.E sack off the dead wood.

I'm not saying we won't be signing him but we just won't be doing it by/on monday.

PSV found the same thing during Ronaldos medical apperantly. He did alright..

Milan were bust though, and wanted him on loan instead of buying. Crock of shite I reckon.
 
Lyon coach Remi Garde said after Genk friendly there's a chance that either Michel Bastos or Aly Cissokho will leave, but not both.

I dont think its as clear cut a deal as posted earlier.

I dont see why the player himself would say he was having a medical, as did his parent club if it was in fact bullshit.

Fairly sure Milan also bought a fair few players that summer, so not sure they were skint exactly.
 
Well this sounds rather promising. This new lad at left back, Johnson at right back with Kelly challenging for a place in central defence and providing cover across the back four.

A balanced side with players playing in their natural positions. Who would have thought it?
 
And to think this time last year we were turned down by Luke Young and signed the Konch.
Times have changed to say the least..

He did have a medical. They just used the teeth thing as an excuse.

He then kicked off, told everyone it was crap, & if memory serves me correctly, had it checked again by an independent.
