If the question was which is the best team in the premier league history then its United, then Arsenal, then Chelsea so no place for us.
But it isnt, its who is the best 11.
Anyway. Its subjective and I dont really care if any other Liverpool fans agree.

I was tempted to play Shearer up top and Henry out on the left but then if you're playing Shearer you should really play Giggs as you'd also have crossing as an option.

I like Henry as a player far more than I do either Giggs or Shearer though, so he makes it in.

Btw i dont believe for one second that no other fans would have Gerrard in their team, but in the interest of interest ive texted all my football mates (spurs, arsenal, Qpr, Newcastle, Middlesbrough, Southampton, United etc) so i'll let you know.

I'd go with Keni's team there, though I'd be tempted to swap Giggs for Bergkamp as Henry and Ronaldo combined give you all of what Giggs can, and Bergkamp would add the guile to make that attack absolutely irresistible.

But, IMO, like I said, you're not picking a team to win. You're picking the best in their position. So Keane & Vieira are CM, and Shearer is an absolute fuckin shoo in.

Most of the team picks itself, I dont see the fuss over Gerrard being omitted Id be very surprised if he makes the team when all votes are counted because Keane (by a long distance) and Viera were better players at their peak. Giggs and Ronaldo are straight forward picks, Shearer is a no brainer and Henry is for my money the best player to have played in the premiership.
