As for the comments about the kids, keni, I presume he's doing this to take the pressure off them - and that what he says to them in the dressing room is a lot more inspirational and encouraging.

Trouble is when you employ someone who's only adept at "the doggy paddle" and has generally only swam effectively in small back garden ponds... it's a big ask to drop him into the middle of a big fuckin swimming pool, tie some weights to his ankles and expect the poor bastard to be clocking olympic class lap times.
