All I want for Christmas is...

Pulisic would be a rather awesome acquisition, he looks a real player, but probably also a pretty unlikely/expensive one at that.. but listen, I HAVE A GREAT IDEA!!

Within the Dortmund ranks there have been a common acceptance that Pulisic and his one day younger teammate from their youth setup Jacob Bruun Larsen are of the same calibre talent-wise. There are of course loads of IFs and BUTs about the weight of such a statement now, as one have delivered the goods more or less regularly at the highest level whereas the other is still mainly exceeding at youth level.

This might still be a very shrewd idea however, to look more thoroughly at the one who's still got his big breakthrough in the Bundesliga to look forward too, and before you go all crazy and swear at me and my bacon-shaped LEGO-hat, hear me out on this one;

Apart from the obv and already mentioned fact that one is already shining and therefore are obviously way ahead of the other (value-wise if nothing else), here are a few reasons why it still could pay off to go for the one under the radar.

He has got TWO feet
Bruun Larsen has been described as an exceptionally skilled two-footed winger with tons of pace to burn. Coaching staff at Dortmund have described him as the most capable two-footed player they have ever come across and you simply can't tell what is his preferred foot. His good technique, marvellous speed and rare two-feet ability makes him a real menace for defenders to defend against and would give us options on both wings.

Goals Goals Goals
He is also scoring goals for fun and is top scorer in the Bundesliga Youth League despite his position from the wing and is now closing in on more frequent playing time in the Bundesliga, if recent bulletins are to be believed. He's a real danger from set-pieces too.

Transfer fee
At this point in time odds are well and truly in favour of Pulisic of the two especially if one were to bet on who's going to have the greatest career, however knowing what you know now (because you believe every word I've written) and keeping in mind that one would probably demand a fee of +£50M (probably more) and the other in the £10M area, wouldn't you be slightly tempted too?

A bit more on the two-footed speedster here: http://sixcrazyminutes.com/index.php?threads/one-to-watch-jacob-bruun-larsen-19.108155/

Does this mean both of his feet are shite?

Borussia Dortmund just lost again, 1:2 away to Stuttgart. The defense was a shambles and the whole team looks void of confidence and ideas – it looks very likely the Peter Bosz will be sacked before the next game, which happens to be the derby against Schalke. Aubumeyang was left out of the team for disciplinary reasons, Pulisic didn't play because of a small injury. All is not well at Dortmund at the moment.

Yep. It's not looking good for them. We should be looking to pick apart that carcass. Beside PEA and Pulisic, anyone else we should be looking at?

Weigl, possibly, other than that I'm not sure how many of their players would actually improve us – possibly Bartra or Sokratis, but I doubt they are looking to leave. I like Guerreiro, but there is less need for him now that Moreno has improved. Dahoud barely plays, Gotze looks a shadow of the player of 5 years ago, Reus is pretty much finished, Dembele has been sold... Other than Pulisic and the new winger called Max Philipp, few of their players are emerging with any credit this season.
