It's been ages since you've had an embarrassing nervous breakdown on the Forum!

At least a week or two, anyway

Yes, your weird, passive-aggressive, 'lol' and smiley-strewn posts are not tedious or boring. They're sort of fascinating, like a manifestation of your disintegrating psyche. I don't think I'm very good for your clearly fragile mental health though.

But I can't do anything about that really.

Well - You can... You can fuck off. Simples. *insert passive/aggressive smiley face*

Whats the point of logging onto a football forum and acting like a cunt?

Its just weird.

Either talk some footy, general nonsense, have a laugh or fuck off.

This started from an unfunny name for a player

Fucking gang of hysterical bastards

I've tried to tell him that, but no, he follows me all over the place, making odd comments about the jokey 'Chamberpot' name, and getting worked up.

I imagine him typing with a very weird and scary frozen grin, like the Joker or something

Imagine if he went through your history and pieced to together your thoughts on Firmino since he joined us. He would think you were the serial killer from Silence of the Lambs.

Yeah I always thought that about Brendan too. I mean WTF?! It's VERY weird. Who wakes up and goes onto a football forum (who also happens to support the same team as you) and acts like a complete bellend? I mean who does that?

Hey Brendan/ @manwithnoname . - Just as a heads up. You're very weird

*Awaits witless/tedious/boring and obvious retort*.

P.S . - Fuck Off

You are very weird. I bet as you typed that you thought it was a funny analogy. Hate to break it you but it wasn't. It was shit, unfunny and like yourself.. Very boring. *See Chamberpot* I double dare you to call him 'Chamberpot' again and not look like a complete puerile tit.

This just randomly popped up in my YouTube feed:

Anybody got lineup predictions?

Klopp denied that Porto game will have any effect on his team selection, but in some cases I think it might. For sure he's won't start Henderson twice in the same week. Would he also risk resting one of the front 3 or Robertson? I hope not, since Saints away will be a tough test and we can't afford any slip-ups. Can is suspended for CL, so he will surely start. Gomez was not in team training at the time of the press-briefing.

I would try to avoid starting Lovren and VVD together to avoid Saints fans having a go at our entire central-defense. Matip should be a good fit for this game, while Lovren should start vs Porto.

-----------------Karius----------------
Trent----Matip-----VVD---Robertson
---------------Can---Gini-------------
Salah---------------------------Mane
----------Firmino---Solanke (surprise start!)

Reasoning for Solanke starting (besides giving him another chance) is to allow Firmino to drop deeper and play more of a playmaker role, since neither Ox or Lallana so far have been able to fill Coutinho's shoes. I expect a rather cautious approach from both managers, respecting the attacking talent at each other's disposal and thus unwilling to open the game up too much.

I've been proposing Firmino as a deep lying #10 or advanced #8 for maybe a whole season ! Klopp is not going to do that with Firmino's record this season though (and personally I'd start Ings ahead of him rather than Solanke).

However there is no way Klopp is going to, effectively, play 4 forwards in this game, at home perhaps. I had forgotten about OxCham, and that Can is suspended in the CL, and since Klopp has made it clear Hendo isn't going to start and Lallana will be on the bench (personally I'd start him as the advanced MFer) then the midfield should be Can + Gini + OxCham furthest forward.

Well you got to hand to him that Chamberpot is extremelly embarrasing even for you, which is quite an achievment.

I gotta say, since someone posted very positive stats about Ozil when it seemed he might be available I've been watching him far more closely in his last few games. I always thought he was drowned out in this league, needs a bit more space, and he's done nothing to change my opinion. His dead balls are crap too. And they're paying him 350 a week.

I think often we're too harsh on our own players, especially new signings. Ox was terrible when he came on against Spurs but so was Ozil yesterday, and at least Ox takes decent corners.

Of course we're going to be worse all season without Coutinho, but we should be able to beat Southampton without him.

Ozil has always had great stats for assists, but when he's not creating, he can look a bit languid and lazy, even if actually he does actually cover a lot of ground usually.

Creative Players like him - and also Mikitikitarka, who was laughably inept yesterday - when they have a bad game, it's a *really* bad game.

And they seem to stay in the memory longer than their good ones.

But when it comes to stats, Chamberpot doesn't even really have that to fall back on, over the course of his career so far anyway. But he does possess more obvious physical attributes than a player like Ozil, in that he's quick and powerful, so there should always be a ball-carrying option for him, even when his passing enters 'Bulls arse with shovel' territory.

His over hitting of the ball for simple passes last Sunday was just ridiculous. Especially as he's had a couple of decent games and that hasn't seemed the problem. Just hope he sorts it out pronto because like you say, physically he seems right.

Yeah. He seems like a bright, pleasant enough person, who wants to learn. So that's a bonus. His physical attributes are also all there. I will state again that I don't rate him, he's not a naturally 'smart' footballer and is very inconsistent.

As for his abysmal end product, perhaps he's one of those players who will never really have one, and that Klopp bought him exactly for those quick, ball-carrying skills, rather than anything else.

That's not dissimilar to Moussa Dembele at Spurs, who also scores fuck all and has hardly any assists, but still does an important role in that team, and at his best is quite superb.
