Yeah, I dont think it really matters if its Spurs or Ajax. Ajax have been the better side for most of this semi final.
The only thing is losing to Spurs will be so much worse than a loss to Ajax.

Even I think we would've mullered that Ajax team. I've never seen a worse defensive performance in the knockout stages of the champions league.

Urgh. Horrible for so many reasons. The bullshit media circus. The bullshit ‘all English final’ (it’s not) and the very idea that they could be the reason we don’t win it for the sixth time. Fucking Tottenham. All the way to a CL final to play those no marks.

Spurs stupidly tried to compete for all 4 trophies this season.....only City can attempt that as they can afford to have 2 world class players for every position. Spurs, as a result, are completely knackered, the players are punch drunk. But they now have 3 weeks to recover, get Kane fit and recharge the battery
They have a very good manager and match winners such as Kane, son, Moura, eriksen etc so, no it won't be easy and yes spurs can win it.
I know we are better than spurs but not significantly enough for me to feel that this is anything more than a 60/40 final ie I think there's a 60% chance we win but go into this game with no great confidence.

I'm not so sure.....spurs will immerse themselves in this whole "battle of Britain" thing and try and forget they are playing a champions League final. I don't think last year's experience will give us any edge. I'm a fucking barrel of positivity ain't I? Sorry but I'm shitting myself already and just can't face another final defeat.
I do have confidence in the side. But Spurs is a much tougher team than Ajax. Nothing wrong with saying that. Loads of other people are saying it but you're singling me out. We should beat Spurs, but as Pesam says, it's a close call. They're a good, well-balanced side, they'll have important players back for the final, they were the better side at Anfield this year and have given us tough games for the past couple of seasons. I'd rather play a shit team in a final than a good one.
As for confidence in the side, I thought we'd beat Barcelona when the draw was made. We're better than Spurs. We should win on paper. But we've got a much tougher draw than had we played that Ajax team who were poor. I'm not being defeatist or anything. I'm not saying I'd rather we weren't in the final. So pack it in.
