How in the hell is Nunez going to settle in, if we're not using him in competitive games? For me, he has to start

He's not, he's only going to be used in domestic cup games & then in July will be loaned out to Parma.

Would also argue we need to get Jota settled back in to the team too, this season

Whilst true, Jota never struggled in this team until the whole team struggled (post feb). Darwin hasn't really got in yet, and tbh i think we need to get him up to full speed ASAP. I don't think it's dramatic to say our season depends on how quick/ if he gets up to speed

Fuck F1, no one gives a shit about that anyway.

Even though I've kinda ruined it now, wait till the official confirmation comes then lets see what the immediate reaction is.

Millions will disagree there.

I can tell you my reaction. What a cluster fuck of a decision to postpone last weekend’s game. Other sports went ahead, now we have 2 league games to squeeze into the second half of the season which will fuck up any chance of us going far in the league and European cup. Well done premier league.

Exactly and especially given Jota could do with a gentle reintroduction after many months out.

Nunez will play and score.

Really cannot wait for this game - want to see how our team responds to Klopp bollocking them all week and also a game against an exciting footballing side like Ajax is always an interesting watch. TBH I don’t miss the Premier League at the moment.

Klopp: "We had a meeting with the players, I watched the [Napoli] game and it was a real horror to be honest. "It was the worst game we played since I am here."

Hopefully we'll see us with something to prove tomorrow night.
What about the Villa and Spurs games ?

I'm not really expecting much tonight. The team has really sucked away any confidence I had with their piss poor preformances and I'm not holding out much hope for major improvements. We might sneak a win but really can't see beyond a draw or loss tbh. Even a struggling win isn't good enough in my eyes. You'll have all these lads saying" its the 3 pts that's important," or" winning playing badly is the sign of a good team" bla bla bla
This is bullshit, we need to actually play well and create good chances against teams because its something we struggle with especially against shit teams who just defend deep. Time will tell....

Despite the addition of Andy Robertson to the injury room for Liverpool there was some positive injury-related news for the Reds shared during Jurgen Klopp’s pre-match presser.
The German confirmed that briefly sidelined star Fabio Carvalho – whom Jamie Carragher recently lauded as ‘brilliant’ during his Newcastle cameo – ‘is training’ ahead of Ajax’s visit today, as was relayed on Twitter by the Echo’s Ian Doyle.

Furthermore, the Portuguese star completed another training session yesterday, which will supply a massive boost to his chances of making the matchday squad for the Merseysiders’ second Champions League group stage game this term.

Able to file out in the midfield, it’s another useful option for Klopp at a time when midfielders are in such short supply.
With that in mind, of course, we believe a formation change to accommodate for a comparative surplus in forwards may be the ticket for now ahead of the international break.
The postponement of the trip to Stamford Bridge will at least give the coaching staff the time required to work out whether such a serious change is the best way to get the most out of the squad going forward or whether it’s simply a case of holding tight until injured men return.

I get ya. We don’t wanna raise our expectations too much.
I have the hope, and I believe if anyone can turn this around, Klopp can,
Time will definitely tell ! I’m a believer

Ilno I do believe klopp will turn it around but I just think it's not something that will be fixed in a few games. Like some in here said to me the other day, it could take the season to sort as klopp won't change his ways and we don't have a plan B. It's more that having a shortend preseason as everyone else is doing fine. As fans we tend to look for excuses and when results go our way tend to overlook the actual preformances but eventually consistant bad preformances lead to where we are now. We struggle to break down teams who defend deep, it's not a new thing, has been a thing for a long time, even going back to our title winning season we were able to wear teams down and were clinical when we got a chance. Scoring that first goal changes the mindset of both teams.
But now we have become so predictable
