I'll bet £35 that Carroll will score more this season than Blimey.

Blimy drinks less, shaves each day and doesn't have Jamie Carragher as his playmaker.

ha ha carra is going to rack up the assists this season

young - 7
nasri - 6
carra - 5

Guess this is the most 'exciting' transfer in europe this summer so far . It's been pretty boring window really if you ask me , don't think there is much value in the current market ...there's a lack of available talent and there are very few top quality new names on the block that aren't already with a big team .

You sound like Ferguson when the cash has run out.

City with and with out Tevez were two very different teams last season. I've no doubt that Aguero will be a good player for them. But he hasnt got the workrate or energy that Tevez has, and wont score 44 goals in 60 odd games.

They've got loads of strikers that have pretty much the same mind set and commitment levels.

And why do people compare Aguero to Carroll. It should be Suarez vs Kun, and Dzeko vs Carroll. We got the better deal in both imho.

I really dont like City's champ manager approach to football, butttttttttt, the simple fact is i dont care what they do. They will never be our rivals. They will just be another club with shit loads of cash, a revolving door of new players/managers who will undoubtably win some trophies.
Fuck em. They make me respect the other mancs ffs.

Anyway. Kun wont do what Tevez has done simply because he isnt as good a player, however he plays better with friends than Tevez so maybe a partnership with Dzeko or Balotelli will work out for them. That said i dont care, i dont care about Manchester City or Liam fucking Gallagher or Ricky Hatton or their fucking whiney nasaly 'yaaaaaaaalll riiite maaaate' fucking accents. They, them, him and it can go and fuck themselves, i hope their fucking city slides into the manchester ship canal and every one of the dastardly horrible greasy haired parka wearing cunts drowns. Including Aguero the soulless fuckend.

Fucking hate Football at times.

Fuck'em, leave them to it. It's always the best 'team' that wins anyway.

I don't blame Citeh, if any Club had the money behind it that they do, they'd do the exact same thing. I just think this is another example that Football is all about money, money, money. More now than ever.

It's a sign of the times and we have to live with it, but it's pretty sad nonetheless. That Aguero probably never even heard of Man City a few years ago.

Carroll is so licking his lips in anticipation of showing this lad how its done in the Prem.

Carroll 17 - Aguero 11.

I think he'll do very well himself. Hopefully we can build a better team though.

I'm sad we didn't get him.

For 12m when Rafa turned him down ? Or now ?
[/quote]

Riiiiiiiight. Madrid's record signing (23m) made available to Rafa for 12m and he turns them down.
Right on the money about him as usual Rosco.

LOL!

Aguero was 17 and still playing in Argentina. I don't think many here wanted us to risk 14-17million on him.

Pity, cause he's a beast. I remember the threads.

to be fair to city, you can't call their fans plastic. they went down three divisions (right?) and the fans still came out in numbers.

“I used to like Liverpool and remember watching their Champions League final,” Aguero told ESPN.

“I cheered every goal as they made their comeback. So yes, I liked Liverpool, but to say I was a fan is a bit too strong.”
