Well I'm of the opinion that 2 years is long enough to shape a 1st team to a satisfactory point and it's certainly long enough to learn the league so I would expect a challenge in year 3. I also don't think 1 challenge is good enough in 5 years for a team that hasn't won the league in 19 years. I'd rather get a new manager in next year (if it all goes tits up this year (stays tits up I should say)) who can start building their team while we still have some brilliant talents, who's to say that if we missed out on 4th this year that we'd get in next year? Think about the players that would want away then and the calibre of manager that we'd be able to attract, we'd be a far worse proposition if that were to happen.

Well I'm of the opinion that 2 years is long enough to shape a 1st team to a satisfactory point and it's certainly long enough to learn the league so I would expect a challenge in year 3. I also don't think 1 challenge is good enough in 5 years for a team that hasn't won the league in 19 years. Having said that, if we don't qualify money will be tighter than ever, attracting another top manager will be difficult anyway and having to pay Benitez (and potentially his staff) off will make matters worse still.
