Is it possible for an injured player to make a move without undergoing any physical tests? He's out with hamstring injury at the moment. Guess the ideal solution is loan move with option to buy?
We signed Aquaman

according to the torygraph we are after bennynoon with miereles going in the other direction.

that would be a DISASTEROUS bit of business from us. I can't stand benny onion, can't stand him.

And carroll
It's also rather unlikely Aurelio was injury free when we originally signed (I don't know for certain but it seems more than likely)

But both underwent medical tests before the move, didn't they? Not referring to their medical history/record but the mandatory medical test prior to transfers. With his current injury, think a loan move will by-pass that?

I don't quite follow you now. Everyone goes through medical tests before a move as far as I know.

Yes mate, my question is with Afellay injured at the moment how will he be able to undergo medical tests?

Yes but Aquilani and Carroll for example were also injured at the time we signed them so it should not be a problem.

but it's the nature of the injury. if the injury is a thigh strain, that's not a big deal but a knee injury?

Roger that. Cos Aquilani's test was in Aug while his ankle surgery was in May whereas Carroll's injury started from Dec.

One newspaper article and this forum goes into meltdown. I'd be amazed if this has any truth to it rather than just wild speculation, i.e. just not one quote.

3 pages isn't a meltdown. 😉

I hope we sign him but it does seem unlikely. It would be the best window in ages/ever(?).
If only we got rid of Poulsen and Ngog...*drools*

reliable itks are backing this up btw.

I wanted him before he went to Barca because had looked a very good player, but we left it too late.

Afellay also popped into my mind during the whole 'we can't signed anyone other than Stuart Downing for £20M' debate was kicking off. I'd like him here a lot. Grumbling over 10M Euros seems daft given some of the fees we've splashed out this year.

But yeah, probably won't happen.

I know of a couple saying Benny's off to Spurs.

Benny Onion to Spurs as part of the Modric deal. N'gog to Bolton and Poulsen to Espanyol!

Hip hip hooray!

Afellay would be great.

Selling Ming to the Chavs would be shit.

Taking Yossi off their hands would be okay, as long as he cost fuck all and didn't want loadsa money

This would be the glamour signing I have been waiting for, would love for us to sign gym.
£10mill is a price tag I'd be happy with too as long as Barca don't try one of their mental deals where they can buy him back for a fiver in a week
