Adios agent Rafa...

The only ways this could have remotely worked out well is if Benitez had suddenly pushed Everton into the European places, which was never gonna happen as they are not good enough and neither is he, or if they had stayed in mid table mediocrity and we had completely collapsed.

As it turns out, we have continued to do pretty well and Everton have got even worse.

New appointment already at Goodison Park.

Everton sell Digne after the fall out with Benitez and then sack Rafa.

Only Everton could do that.
I didn’t get that at all. I mean look at Levy who knew Mourinho was a short-term convenient appointment; he refused to sanction the sale of Alli et al.

Graham Potter would be a great choice.
But I hope he doesn't take the job. I'm hoping for Fat Sam

Everton might have missed the boat now with targets like him. The likes of Brighton look infinitely more stable than Everton and on the up. The Blues couldn't be a bigger shit show. If Potter was smart, he'd hold out for a Spurs/Arsenal job instead of chancing his arm at that poisoned chalice.

Yep, unless the FA start getting ideas

They are like a shit Real Madrid of past years. Spending money on rando players. Firing managers every 6 months. Long may it continue.

All schadenfreude aside, I hope Demarai Gray continues his good form under whoever the new Everton manager is – giving him a chance was probably the best thing Rafa did at Everton and it's been good to see a young talented player turn his career around.

I don't. I hope he loses every single game he plays for Everton. Not registering a single goal or assist. Same for all their other players.

This Moshiri guy doesn’t seem to learn his lessons does he? Amazing how fickle and unsophisticated even people sitting in hierarchy positions are.
