Yes, this is good news. It seems likely that the first part of the ground that might get this treatment will be the Anny Road, if it can be built into the plans for the expansion. If a standing area gets incorporated into the Kop they'll have to start at the top, won't they? Sooner the better.
 
I thought that HFSG was opposed to safe standing and LFC are loathe introduce it without their support. Understandably.

I'd say it will be introduced at other PL grounds first and we will be one of the last once it has been fully proven out.

Not that it hasn't already been proven at Celtic, Shrewsbury and in Germany, but it's a delicate matter
 
I heard on the radio the other day that the new spurs stadium has areas already for 'safe seating' which can effectively be switched to standing by allowing the seats to fold up very easily.
